Earlier this evening I noticed my cats tail was dripping with blood.
It’s eased up a bit now, with the odd drip here and there.
He’s acting normally, eating, walking about etc, but when I touch his tail to try and bathe it in salt water or get a better look at what’s actually causing it he cries out and struggles to get away so I can’t really see what’s going on with it.
He’s an indoor/outdoor cat, and he was out today until the early afternoon when I let him in and he was fine. He was curled up on the sofa and there was no blood at all so it must have happened in the house.
I’m worried about leaving him over night, as obviously the vets isn’t open, but I don’t know if I’m over reacting and it’s just a cut?
If anyone knows anything about this or if it’s happened to your cat I could do with some advice!
